MRI Seminar	Since 1989. This seminar builds confidence and a strong foundation in MRI.  As we present the fundamentals of MRI physics and instrumentation, you get to learn about image formation, pulse sequences, and clinical applications. CT Seminar	A review of the basic principles of CT as well as recent developments will be presented. The course will include system components, image formation, reconstruction process and factors affecting resolution, noise, dose and image artifacts. Helical and multi-detector CT (MDCT) will be presented along with their benefits and challenges. Will discuss quality control and ACR accreditation. The course handout is made available electronically. The Webinar is offered in four modules - module one, through four. Each module is two hours long, for a total of eight credits. You'll need an internet enabled computer, and an environment where you can stay focussed for two hours. Be on time with notebook and pen. Questions can be submitted on line. In English. Rad. Safety	From chest X-ray to CT-scan, and from a thyroid uptake study to a PET-scan, imaging procedures come with Risk/Reward ratio. One of the risks associated with Radiologic procedures is radiation exposure. Protecting the staff and patient from unnecessary radiation exposure is an integral part of responsible radiologic imaging. This course reviews the principles of radiation protection, the different types of radiation used clinically, and radiation biology. We then review the principles of ALARA, radiation safety, shielding and personnel safety. We'll review the NCRP guidelines, and Federal/ NRC/ State regulations.	$149
